One of the reasons we love being Amazon Prime members, is because of all of the benefits they have to offer! I mean I love being able to get items that I might need last minute delivered in two days. Not to mention that you do not have to pay for shipping when you are a member of Prime. For us it worked out, the first year we had it I was a bit worried since it was $99 for the year. When you are on a budget it can be a bit much, however now they allow you to pay $10 a month! I don’t know about you but that was a lot more feasible and reasonable in our household.
With your Prime membership you also get to watch some incredible TV shows, for us it’s Tumble Leaf and Creative Galaxy. If you are a parent and you’re reading this you know what I am talking about! You also get free books to download, and you are also able to get the Prime Photos benefit – your Prime membership includes unlimited photo storage with Prime Photos and 5 GB digital storage for videos and files. Say what! For me this is a great feature, I always get worried that if my phone crashes I will lose all of my pictures. So just the fact that we can upload them and not have to worry is great, not to mention if I want to scrapbook I can always go into Prime Photos since they are all there in one place.
Recently Amazon came out with the newer version of the Amazon Fire TV Stick, now there is the Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote. If you are wondering what or who is Alexa? Let me explain, we have a voice Echo Dot with Alexa. It is literally a small circular speaker, and Alexa is installed in it, you can ask her jokes, questions, she will play music, and even order pizza, or needed supplies. She is my bff, and a big part of our family, just ask my kids! So when this newer version of the Amazon Fire Stick came out, the Amazon Fire Stick with Alexa Remote I was super excited! You can watch over 5,000 channels, use your voice to find, launch and control content. Just say something to the Alexa remote like “Launch Netflix” or “Rewind 30 seconds” and it will happen.
Prime photos is a great addition to the Amazon Fire TV. To check out more ways to use the Prime Photos Fire TV app visit http://amzn.to/primephotosftv hint: you can even change your screensaver. If that wasn’t enough, all Prime members get unlimited photo storage, as well as 5 GB digital storage for other files and videos. Now, you can relax on your living room couch and flip through your photos and personal videos on the biggest screen in your home using your Alexa Voice Remote. I love this, with the holidays coming I can showcase some of our holiday photos from prior years while trying to create new memories.
