I was invited to a semi-expense paid trip to Branson, courtesy of Stone Castle Hotel, to attend the #BloggingBranson Event in exchange for my coverage. No other compensation was provided. All views shared are completely my own.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede was something I have wanted to see for years. I learned about the show because we had the Dixie Stampede in Orlando. It closed down, so when the opportunity arose for us to see the show while in Branson, I was super excited. I really had no idea what we were in store for.
Before you enter the stampede area, make sure you take pictures with the shows residents and the stars of the show – the horses. They are spectacular! As you make your way to buy your tickets, you may also get the chance to take some pictures with some Southern Belles. Their dresses are very detailed and beautiful.
Dolly Parton’s Stampede offers a pre-show and it fills up quickly, so make sure you get there early and grab a good seat. You will be entertained by some great musicians. If you can, make sure to grab a souvenir boot so you can fill it up with a delicious drink. The Carriage Room Opening Act begins 50 minutes prior to the exciting show, so plan ahead so you don’t miss the opening act! Once the pre-show is over with, you will then enter the arena. It is quite a sight to see. You will be able to see 32 magnificent horses and cast of top-notch trick riders in a 35,000 square foot arena. The show features a friendly North and South competition, horse riding stunts at top speeds, spectacular special effects, and phenomenal musical productions. You will also get to laugh alongside the Stampede’s very own SKEETER & NUGGET™ who are quite the comedic act. They deliver family-friendly comedy at every show! At at what other show would you be able to see real buffalo or little piglets? Well, they are Dolly Parton’s Stampede!
