Disney Junior Dance Party

As 2019 brings many changes to Walt Disney World the company is making sure not to forget the little ones. The latest example of this is the new 2019 Disney Junior Dance Party. For a long time Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been known as the park for thrills. That tradition carries on with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening later this year. Recently however, Disney opened a new Toy Story Land for kids three and up to experience. Sure the attractions are still thrill based, but for a much younger audience to appreciate. It’s also at Hollywood Studios where kids have been able to meet with Disney Junior Characters at Hollywood and Vine on a seasonal basis.

Now more fun opportunities are filling the various nooks and crannies of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the form of character meet and greets. Kids can rub elbows with Mike and Sully, Mickey and Minnie, and have a conversation with BB-8 just to name a few. The most recent updates include popular dance parties. One Incredibles dance party takes place outdoors near the entrance to Toy Story Land. Another is the new interactive Disney Junior show in the Animation Courtyard.

2019 Disney Junior Dance Party

Unlike most other dance parties around Disney World, this one is more of a show in an indoor theater with an actual stage. Also new, if it’s been a while since you experienced Disney Junior Live, this version has full sized performing characters dancing on stage and on the floor with the kids. The show features all of the kids’ favorite shows including Doc McStuffins and Vampirina!

What to Expect at the Disney Junior Dance Party

Disney Junior Dance Party is a wonderful opportunity to let your kids get their wiggles out and dance with their favorite Disney Junior Characters within the context of a structured show. The interactive Live experience has 10 performances per day roughly 45-50 minutes apart with some time in the middle of the day for Mickey and his pals to have a hot dog break.

The party starts with a warm up by DJ Deejay and then Fin Fiesta, the Charismatic host, invites the kids to welcome in the Disney Junior Characters to start the fun. The party includes performances from Doc McStuffins, The Lion Guard and Vampirina. There is even a special Appearance by Mickey Mouse, from Mickey and the Roadster Racers. The whole party features audience participation with lots of dancing, giggling and, of course, bubbles. After the show there is a Disney Junior character meet and greet outside!

More Disney Junior at Hollywood Studios

Starting on May 13, 2019 you can have breakfast with Roadster Racer Goofy, Jake (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) Doc McStuffins and more at Hollywood and Vine. The new Disney Junior Play ‘n Dine is a character dining experience will only be available for breakfast. The buffet style breakfast is open until 10:30 am. The first dance party doesn’t start until 9:40, so get breakfast first!

In its 30th year, with Disney Junior, Toy Story Land and other character meet and greets, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is once again a park with something fun for everyone!
