Chevrolet has always had a way of designing its cars and SUVs to have what seems the perfect fit for families and their personalities.
The Chevrolet Blazer 2020 A Romantic Masterpiece
We had the opportunity to drive the new Chevrolet Blazer on our date day while the kids were in school. We loved all of the features the blazer had.
-
Adaptive Cruise Control
This feature is amazing. It basically takes over to keep a safe driving distance from the car in front of you. This means that it will slow down and keep that distance without having to do a thing.
-
Lane Assist
How many times have you crossed over the line when you were driving and didn’t even know it? The lane assist of the Chevy Blazer Premier can help keep you in your own lane. Talk about a great safety feature to keep everyone safe!
-
Excellent Gas Mileage
Having great gas mileage is key. With an average of 22 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, you’ll have a lot less time spent at the gas station and more time in comfort driving around your car.
-
Wi-Fi Availability
Finding the perfect restaurant for date days are key for me and sometimes I need access to the internet, even when I’m sitting and riding in the passenger seat. The Wi-Fi works great all throughout the car and came in really handy.
The Blazer’s 8.0-inch touchscreen is great. The layout is easy to use; the big, color-coordinated buttons make access to features simple even when driving; and the screen responds quickly to touch inputs. The inclusion of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto makes for a solid alternative if you don’t like GM’s default operating system, and the available Wi-Fi hotspot with available 4G LTE is another plus.
The Chevy Blazer has a romantic presence it’s visually similar to its Camaro sibling. The front fascia, in particular, with its slim headlights, bulging hood, and a massive black grille, looks like a masterpiece. The beige accents of the Premier package further butch up the exterior. And, of course, like most modern SUVs, the Blazer has a floating roof element.
Our Chevy Blazer, a near-fully loaded Premier edition with all-wheel drive, costs $50,765. The $3,575 Enhanced Convenience and Driver package, which adds a rear camera mirror, updated infotainment, and advanced safety features, is the Blazer’s most expensive option.
Romance in is in the air
The Chevrolet Blazer is perfect for not just for families but for couples. There was plenty of trunk room to enjoy the sunset while opening a bottle of wine. We enjoyed being able to look out on the river and get a beautiful view of the Kennedy Space Center on an amazing Florida day.
