Amazon Prime day starts July 15th and ends July 16th at midnight, it is a great time to get some of your favorite items on sale!
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Prime Day started in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary. Since then, it has grown into a global deal-a-thon that’s celebrated in 18 countries. Prime Day has been such a massive success that for the third consecutive year Amazon is extending the length of the sale. Amazon Prime Day 2019 will last 48 hours (up from last year’s 36-hour sale).
Should I start my Prime Day shopping at midnight?
Amazon will have deals at midnight (Pacific Time), but unless you’re already awake, nothing that’s released at midnight will sell out before morning.
That said, below are some incoming deals along with some deals we think you should buy right now. Our “wait for” deals will most likely be available throughout Prime Day. Meaning, you don’t have to stay up till 3 am ET on Monday to start your shopping. You have work in the morning — get some rest. Just make sure to check our guides bright and early on Monday for a list of the best overnight and morning deals.
As a reminder, there are also plenty of Prime Day freebies you can take advantage of right now.
- Fire TV Cube for $69.99 ($50 off)
- Fire TV Stick 4K for $24.99 ($25 off)
- Echo for $49.99 ($50 off)
- All-New Fire 7 Tablet for $24.99 ($20 off)
- 35% off grocery back-to-school brands Gatorade, KIND, more
- Up to $40 off Oculus Go

What are the best Prime Day Whole Foods deals right now?
Through July 16, Prime members who spend $10 or more at Whole Foods (or via a Prime Now order), will receive a $10 Amazon credit that can be redeemed during Prime Day (July 15 and 16).
This is the same promo that Amazon offered last year. However, it’s a great deal because that $10 credit can be used on anything sold via Amazon. (Excluding gift cards). For example, Amazon has confirmed that the Echo will drop to an all-time price low of $49.99 this Sunday. Stack on that Whole Foods credit and your Echo is now $39.99 — a price low we’ll likely never see again.
In addition to the credit, Prime members who shop at Whole Foods can currently save from 25% to 50% off select items, including organic cherries, apple pie, and wild-caught salmon. At checkout, you’ll get an extra 10% off select items. Make sure to follow our guide for the best Prime Day Whole Foods deals.
To kick off Prime Day I have partnered up with some other wonderful ladies for you to win a $50n Amazon gift card.
