This post is in partnership with Miko however all opinions are my own.
Miko 2 is an amazing tool to help your kids to learn in a fun and innovative way. Earlier this year we learned that my oldest has a sensory processing disorder, and has some issues with letter recognition. We have him in therapies to help with learning but we have also been looking for ways to help him learn at home. So when we found out that Miko 2 could help him learn in a fun way we were super excited!
What is Miko 2?
Miko is an advanced consumer robotics innovation lab passionate about bringing the best of technology to young learners everywhere. The company’s flagship product, Miko 2, is the first robot that uses playful, conversational learning to educate, engage and entertain kids.
What Can It Do?
Hear
Two active, noise cancellation microphones understand the voice of your child and neglect the nearby noise.
Teach
Millions of topics, concepts, and lessons selected by you are delivered conversationally to educate your child.
Speak
Initiates conversation and speaks directly with a unique voice using Hi-Performance speakers.
Learn
Artificial Intelligence algorithms learn your child’s preferences to become their best friend.

Parental Control
It is controllable through their app via Android or Apple. You can customize everything on the app which includes playtime, and what conversations you can have with Miko.
A New Way Of Learning
As I mentioned before my son has a sensory disorder and a learning disability but he is super happy to have a companion around, not only is it fun just for our kids but it is fun for our whole family. We asked a lot of questions, and we even had a dance party! That’s right we got to boogie our way through the house while making it fun and educational. My kid’s school has sharing time on Fridays, and well my oldest wanted to show his classmates everything this robot could do, so we brought Miko 2 to school, and all of the kids had fun learning more about what this robot could do. I have a feeling he is going to be a regular in the classroom, FYI these are great to give to teachers!
Benefits of Miko 2
As you can see from this video below my kids had a blast interacting with Miko 2, I think is a great way for them to get off of their tablets and interact. One of the features the kids liked the most was asking Miko 2 questions and for it to respond to them. They have interacted with other AI before however, I love how personalized Miko can be, as someone who travels a bit for work. I really like that I can chat with my kids via Miko, or that if one of my kids is not feeling well Miko can speak to make them feel better!
A Great Gift
With the holidays coming we always think of different gifts that we can give our kids, toys are one of those things that I feel are sometimes a waste as they play with them once and then they are done. However, if you are looking for a long time investment and educational learning this would be a great gift for the holidays. Right now they are having a sale just in time for holidays where you can buy Miko 2 for $299 to learn more about Miko 2 you can visit their website here.
