I found Spelly Straws on Twitter by chance, and I have to say right away fell in love with their product. A lot of the talking, creating, and learning for my family takes place at the dining room table. We tend to do our best thinking about food! When I saw this I automatically thought of my 4-year-old son Geovanni. He loves building, is hyper, and takes less than 5 min to get distracted. We are also a homeschooling family my kids are kinesthetic learners. These straws would be great for them especially when they become fidgety at a restaurant or while we are eating.
The straws not only appeal to kids, as I can see myself having fun with these. Especially at a Mom’s night out, or any other occasion throughout the year; I can’t wait for them to come out. If you can tell in the picture above they spelled my name out, and the name of the website. Show them some love make sure to visit Spelly Straws on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Kickstarter!
Buildable, Customizable Spellystraws Launch on Kickstarter
Dad inventor takes an idea from playing with his child to create fun straws great for playtime learning, parties and other special events.
New York City – Nov. 16, 2016 – Spellystraws, buildable and customizable straws that are perfect for snack time, playtime and party time, have just be introduced on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter.
Inventor and 3D artist Randy Stein, came up with the idea for Spellystraws one day after playing with his young son. In creating letters that can be attached to straws to help children learn to spell, Stein realized they would also be fun to use at parties and other special events.

Stein says Spellystraws is a great educational tool that makes learning to spell fun, creative, and functional for children – but beyond that, they are “fun for anyone of any age.”
In addition to their educational use in classrooms and for tutoring or homeschooling they can be used for celebrating all occasions including:
– Dining (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time, picnics)
– Holidays (Valentine’s Day, New Years, Christmas, Hanukkah, Easter, etc.)
– Parties (sports parties, themed parties, etc.)
– Personal Celebrations like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or housewarmings
Spellystraws are now available at an early-bird discount starting at WHAT PRICE during crowdfunding. For more information or to purchase Spellystraws, visit the Spellystraws Campaign Page on Kickstarter.
