You might be wondering that name Glozell it rings a bell! That’s because you have probably seen her a few times on Youtube probably a lot of times. Glozell is super recognizable with her green lipstick, and quite frankly she was or is if not one of my favorite content creators on the internet.
She literally paved the way for content creators like myself, and I love how authentic and true she is.
I had the opportunity to interview Glozell to talk more about her new show on Million Stories, and loved the fact that she is from O-town! Thats right she is from my neck of the woods Central Florida! But you might be asking how did she become popular?
In 2011, GloZell gained wider notice when her vlog about meeting Elijah Wood was mentioned by the actor during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Her 2012 cinnamon challenge video became quickly popular and was ranked fourth on The Guardian’s “Viral Video Chart” in February 2012. As of 2016, it had amassed more than 48 million views. In June 2012, she was featured in the video Beauty and the Beat by Todrick Hall, which reimagines the opening of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, in which Belle lives in an urban African-American neighborhood.
You guys this video is what got me hooked on her channel I literally die laughing every time I watch it! So I am super glad that she is now on Million Stories with her own show. Many people think that just because you have a ton of followers, views, or are interviewing celebrities that you are making bank. The truth of the matter is that it isn’t that way at all.
Recently I had the privilege of interviewing Glozell to talk about what she has been up to and the new show!
I love how authentic Glozell is about taking about the reality of her situation in that she doesn’t have a lot of money, and is literally struggling to pay her bills. Check out the trailer for her new show!
