Are you watching the prices at the pump go higher and higher every day and wondering what you’re going to do? It may be time to upgrade your car to a fuel-efficient SUV! The 2022 Nissan Kicks is perfect for saving money at the pump and for you to run around in style.
The fact is like most American families we spend a lot of time on the road, between grocery shopping, taking my kids to tutoring, and therapy that is 30 mins away. So every dime I can save at the pump is a win.
Gas Saver
There’s no denying that Nissan upped their game with this vehicle. We were able to drive it for a few days, and we were all impressed by how it handled and drove around town!
Why the 2022 Nissan Kicks is a Great Way to Save on Fuel
One way that you can make the pain hurt less as you’re filling your tank is to trade in your current car and go with the Nissan Kicks.
Great MPG
It’s hard to beat a car that averages 36 MPG on the highway. We’re not talking about driving 50 mph to reach this gas average. This is the real-world average of when you’re highway driving – and that’s pretty awesome!
Electric power steering helps automatically adjust the steering feel based on vehicle speed by cutting down on the amount of power needed from the engine. This also means more miles out of every tank.
The rear seat folds for extra storage
If you’re planning on traveling, you can easily fold down the seats to make even more trunk room! And if you know us, you know that we road trip a lot, and can always use that extra trunk space! one person can fit 19 of their carry-ons in the car this one! That’s a ton of storage room!
Stay connected while driving
Everyone loved that there were blue tooth options to connect with the Kicks. It made it easy to sync up for music with the NissanConnect® system which helps with everything from finding your way to calling and texting hands-free with Bluetooth®, to using voice commands in your Kicks. It connects to your home Wi-Fi to stay up to date. Through NissanConnect®, you can also access advanced smartphone integration like Apple CarPlay®, and Andriod Auto. The less stress we have on the road, the better!
I don’t know about your family but we use technology a lot so in the Nissan Kicks you can keep them charged and connected with standard USB-A and an available USB Type-C port, easily accessible by both the driver and front-seat passenger. There’s also a standard rear-seat USB-A port for passengers in the back to use.
The available Bose Personal Plus Audio System is also amazing. With Bose UltraNearfield™ speakers built into the driver’s headrest, it’s like headphones for your drive.
Safety Features
As a parent, some of the biggest things I look at when buying a car, are those safety features, and I have to say the Nissan Kicks also delivers on this. I know for me sometimes backing out of places can be nerve-racking the Kicks has Rear Automatic Braking that watches out directly behind you for large stationary items you might not see.
I also like the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert which helps you back out of space because let me tell you I stink at parallel parking. It watches around the rear of your Nissan Kicks and can warn you about cars it detects creeping up on you from either side.
Nissan has a great warranty option
The last thing you want to worry about when you buy a new car is something happening to it. But just in case, Nissan has you covered.
- Limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles
- Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
As you can see, having a smaller SUV as your family car doesn’t mean that you have to give up on comfort, speed, or room. There is totally a way that you can have your cake and eat it too!
If you’re in the market for a new car, don’t forget that fuel matters! Get a fuel sipper like the Nissan Kicks to help ease the pain at the pump! It’s a great way to not have to fill up as often and know that you’re in a stylish and comfortable car too not to mention a great starting MSRP of $19,800!
