Easter is one of the most celebrated and cherished holidays and we’re super excited to partner with Catholic Central to celebrate this time of new life and transformation.
Easter Traditions
Everyone has their own way of celebrating Easter, for us it is a special day where we get to celebrate that Jesus has risen from the dead. However instead of doing an Easter Brunch together at a restaurant, we have realized it is a good time to be with the ones that are most important to us.
So we started doing every other year picnics on the beach, I know some of you are like don’t you get sand in your food? The answer is no having the food in a picnic basket helps, and before anyone decides to build sandcastles or run to the water we eat to avoid the sand issue.
Picnic Food
What are the easiest food to pack for a picnic? Fruits like grapes, oranges and apples. Raw veggies like carrots, celery, and broccoli. I also like to pack string cheese, which helps because you don’t have to cut anything. I also like getting a roasted chicken and packing into a container with some soft tortilla shells to take to make chicken wraps.
