Orlando - A City Full of Family Fun

The next time that you’re looking for a fun family weekend or weeklong trip, Orlando needs to be on your brain. Not only is there literally something to do there for everyone but it’s a city that just offers so much excitement and fun.

Anytime I’m planning a trip or figuring out where to travel, I’m instantly intrigued and pulled towards Orlando. There’s just something about the city that makes me feel as though we could spend months there and never get through all the fun family activities that there are!

We were so fortunate to spend a few days there recently and our minds are still buzzing with how jam-packed and amazing that it was.

Just when I thought we’d have to sit down and rest, another exciting opportunity came up and we knew that we couldn’t miss it!

If you’re looking for some awesome reasons to take the family and visit Orlando, I’ve got a list of amazing places and activities that you need to have on your traveling radar.

There are so many fun things to do in Orlando but the list below are things that we experienced and that I highly recommend!

Book your stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort

This resort is amazing. Not only was it spacious and welcoming, but it was so clean, too!

We were able to stay in a private room and had plenty of space for the 4 of us to move about and relax.

The boys were over the moon about the pirate ship with a slide that was in the middle of the pool and it’s a safe bet to say that is where we spent a lot of our time!

Visit ICON Park

This 20-acre park was packed full of fun! Make certain to take a ride on the train and take a peek at the wax museum as well.

Our boys loved hanging out with the parrots and we were even able to snap some really cool pics!

And of course, don’t forget to end the day at Sea Life!

Grab a bite to eat at Enzo’s Hideaway

Take a step back into time at this fun dining restaurant. I ordered an Italian dish and I’m still dreaming of it!

All the food on their menu was delicious and we were stuffed! The entire dinner was handled very well with social distancing and cleanliness and we didn’t have any issues at all.

Spend the day at Universal Orlando Resort

No trip to Orlando would be complete without stopping by here and spending the day! Our boys loved every second of it and they’re still talking about all the fun things that we were able to do.

We LOVEd Hogwarts Express and visited both Universal and Islands of Adventures. This trip convinced me of getting annual passes, and if you buy now you get three months free!!!

Explore WonderWorks Orlando

This fun place was made to be explored. The boys loved playing with bubbles and also playing at the arcade. With over 100 hands-on exhibits, this is really a fun place for the kids!

I told you that Orlando offered a ton of really cool family activities! These are just a few of our favorites but we could easily still be there right this very moment doing even more activities!

No matter what we did, we felt safe and everything was very sanitized and clean!
