Who here loves to dine on tasty food and sit around the table together, enjoying laughter, fun, and great conversations? This is what family dinner in our house is all about.
And since I’m also very passionate about educating our children about diversity and different cultures, it just makes sense that we celebrate these conversations with food from different cultures, too!
So many people associate having tacos with being a Hispanic food, and while that is true, it’s time to open up our eyes and see that there are so many other delicious products and ways that we can let our taste buds have a more diverse palate as well. Once you start looking at all the ingredients, you’re going to be amazed at what you can create!
In fact, your local Publix has some great savings on a variety of food options to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! What better way to create a new recipe for your family while saving money, too?! There’s more than $44 in savings.
Celebrating diversity around the dinner table
Since I have a Hispanic background, celebrating diversity is extremely important to me. And I love knowing that my husband and I are doing everything that we can to raise our boys in an environment at home that promotes diversity, positivity, and love.
We talk about different cultures a lot in our daily lives, and I love being able to use those conversations and pair them up with something else that we love to do in our house, which is eating.
Being culturally diverse means that we appreciate and love all various types of cultures, and that includes food, too!
And there’s no better way to enjoy each other’s company than by sitting around the dinner table; with a ton of delicious food sitting around as well.
It’s time to start thinking outside the box of what you’re used to eating and creating at home and make up something new for everyone to share.
