Have I mentioned a time or two that I’m all about cars? I love them all but there are a few that have a special place in my heart. Above it all, I’m looking for a vehicle that can keep me and my family safe while also providing us with a functional space to keep all our stuff, too.
And ever since I was fortunate enough to drive the Chevy Tahoe RST, I can absolutely report that this vehicle has those two characteristics and so many more.
If you’re in the market for a new family vehicle, here are my top 5 reasons why the Chevy Tahoe RST should be at the top of your list.
5 Reasons the Chevy Tahoe RST is an AWESOME Family Vehicle
Let me be clear that there are many other reasons to love this car, but these are the top ones that are popping into my brain from my own personal experience of driving this Tahoe.
Great Safety Features
As I mentioned earlier, safety is my top priority when I’m looking at cars. I’m happy to report that the Chevy Tahoe RST has several safety features that I love:
- Blind-spot monitoring
- Rear cross-traffic alert
- Automated emergency braking
And those are just a few. I love knowing that my family is safe and sound when we’re on the road.
Good gas mileage
Even though this is a bigger vehicle, it still gets good gas mileage on the road. This is good because I don’t want to spend a fortune or have to stop for gas every hour, either.
Coming in at 20 MPG on the highway and 16 MPG in the city, I think that those are pretty impressive numbers for an SUV of this size.
Tons of room
And I mean TONS. We were able to spread out all over the car and we never bumped knees, arms, legs, or anything else. The boys loved having all the space and used it for books and toys and I loved that they were able to be comfortable during our travels.
Wi-Fi Hotspot
For long road trips, this is an awesome feature to have. And since I’m typically working on the road, it means that I can stay connected as well.
Powerful Engine
I’m not saying that I have a need for speed but I also don’t want to be in a car that doesn’t have any get-up and go, either. I’m happy to report that this Tahoe handled itself well on the road and there weren’t any issues about lack of acceleration or power.
Overall, I found this Chevy Tahoe to be a great car. I loved how sleek and updated it felt while still making me feel as though it was perfectly transporting my precious cargo.
I’m a big fan of all the room and I actually really enjoyed being on the road in a bigger car. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to handle and it was very smooth to ride in as well.
If you’re in the market for a new family car, stop and take a good look at the Chevy Tahoe RST. It just might make you become a Chevy fan for life!
