Florentina’s Ristorante Italiano is not your typical Italian restaurant. It is much better than the average Italian franchises you are used to, like Olive Garden or Bucca Di Beppo. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you have been transported to a small Italian village.
The atmosphere in the restaurant has a European feel to it. Our waitress was even from Russia! Their service was very fast and the servers were very attentive. The food at Florentina’s was incredibly delicious!
To start with, I ordered their Chicken Nachos. I’ve never had nachos like these before. The nachos are made out of wontons, so it gives you that nice extra crunch when you bite into it. They had sour cream, a hefty amount of chicken, tomatoes, and onions. If you are looking for a good appetizer, the Chicken Nachos are my recommended pick.
They also have fresh Italian bread accompanied by their Italian oil and Oregano dip for you to enjoy while you wait for your food. The salad with the house Italian vinaigrette was also very tasty and fresh. For my meal, I ordered the Chicken Alfredo. It was so good. The Alfredo sauce was creamy and thick and I could tell it was homemade and not from a jar. Many times that I have ordered this at other places, it’s watered down or very dry.
For dessert I enjoyed their Italian chocolate cake, which has both white and dark chocolate. It was very moist and so tasty. I am not a chocolate lover; however, I liked that it was a very light dessert topped with whipped cream.
