There is now a Disney Villains After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park. On select nights from June 6 through August 8, 2019, you can experience all of the fun of a Disney After Hours event with a little wicked magic sprinkled in throughout the night. What’s more, tickets are on sale starting TODAY!
Like most Disney After Hours events, you can enjoy complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages included in the cost of admission. But wait, Foolish Mortal, there’s more! Throughout the park you’ll be able to find a variety of specialty food and beverage offerings available for purchase. From savory to sweet, the event features items inspired by The Queen, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Hades, Dr. Facilier, and even Emperor Zurg.

I was so excited about this coming to the parks this Summer I decided to try out some villian treats for myself!
Ursula Cupcakes
Fondant Decorations ingredients
1 tube of Black fondant
1 tube of Purple fondant
1 wooden skewer
1 cake pop skewer
tooth picks
1 cutting board
1 C powdered sugar
Directions
Lightly sprinkle the cutting board with powdered sugar
Using about 1 tsp of black fondant, roll the fondant into a ball
Place the fondant ball onto the cutting board and roll it into a cone. You want the top to be thicker and the bottom to be long and skinny, about 1-2 to inches long
Using the purple fondant, pinch off about 1/2 tsp of the fondant and roll into a ball
Pinch off multiple pieces of the fondant and roll into little balls, make sure you have alternating sizes from big to small
Using the larger fondant piece, place onto the thicker part of the black log.
Repeat steps with alternating sizes of the purple fondant pieces and place onto the black log
Using the cake pop skewer, lightly push into the purple fondant pieces to make the indents.
Using the pointy part of the wooden skewer, lightly push in to the inside of the purple fondant piece
Carefully mold the bottom of the tentacle to make a hook
Repeat steps with remaining fondant pieces.
Make sure to alternate the sizes of the tentacles
Allow to dry out overnight
Cupcake Ingredients
Makes 22 Cupcakes
Ingredients
1 box of Vanilla cake mix
3 eggs room temp
1/2 C of softened unsalted sweet cream butter
1 C 2% milk
1TBSP pure vanilla extract
cupcake liners
cupcake pan
Directions
Preheat oven to 350.
Line cupcake pan with the white cupcake liners
In a medium bowl, add the cake mix, butter, milk, and vanilla extract and stir until combined
Fill cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full.
Bake in the oven for about 21 minutes.
Pull out the cupcakes and allow to cool before frosting.
Frosting Ingredients
1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2 1/2 C powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3-5 TBSP heavy whipping cream
Purple and Black gel food coloring
1 disposable piping bag with a star tip
Directions
Using a stand mixer, combine all ingredients and mix on medium speed.
Mix until you see stiffed peaks in your frosting.
Once the frosting is made, split it into 2 bowls
Add a few drops of black gel food coloring into the first bowl
Add a few drops of purple gel food coloring into the second bowl
Place the piping bag into a large glass and fold the sides of the bag over.
Scoop one spoonful of the purple frosting onto one side of piping bag.
Now scoop one spoonful of the black frosting onto another side of the piping bag and set aside
Take a fondant tentacle and place the thicker part onto the top of the cupcake like shown in the sample image
Place a toothpick into the first purple dot on the tentacle and push the toothpick all the way into the cupcake. Stop pushing in when the toothpick cant go in further.
Repeat step with remaining tentacles
Frost the cupcakes and enjoy!
