Savory Christmas Cupcakes
The best part about making up these simple dinner cupcakes is that you might not even have to dirty up any plates. Can you imagine everyone just walking into the kitchen, grabbing a cupcake, gobbling it down, and moving on to the rest of the day?
That would mean that you don’t have to spend hours washing the dishes and get to spend more time with the people in your life that you’re thankful for.
This holiday season, why spend all day long on cooking up all those other recipes when you can easily whip these up instead?
And if you really want to watch the facial expressions erupt, don’t tell anyone that these aren’t real cupcakes. They’ll think that they’re eating dessert but after one bite, they’ll know differently!
Ingredients needed to make these tasty Christmas Cupcakes
Makes 8 cupcakes
Cooking time 40 mins
Prep time 10 mins
Total cook time 50 mins
- 1 box of stuffing mix
- 3 stalks of celery
- 6 eggs
- ½ cup of flour
- 1 1/4 cups of water
- 1 can of cranberry sauce
- 2 cups of Tasteful Selections Fingerling potatoes (you will need to mash them)
- 1 cup of gravy
How to Make Christmas Cupcakes
Mix stuffing mix and water, add in diced celery, flour, and eggs and mix until you have a thick mixture.
Place into muffin tins and bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool.
Core out the middle of each muffin and fill with cranberry sauce.
Pipe your Tasteful Selections mashed potatoes on top as “icing” and top with gravy and more cranberry sauce. I made the mashed potatoes with a 1/2 cup of milk, a tablespoon of butter and 1/2 teaspoon of chives. Mix it together to create some great magic tasting goodness.
How to reheat these cupcakes?
